In his capacity as Chairperson of the ICC-UAE Commission on Arbitration & ADR, Dr. Mahmood Hussain hosted “Business Meets Their Lawyers”, an exclusive evening aimed at fostering strategic dialogue between the legal and business communities.
Held on Tuesday, 17 June 2025 at Chic Nonna, DIFC, Dubai, the event brought together distinguished legal professionals, corporate leaders, and arbitration specialists to explore the intersection of law, innovation, and commerce.
The evening featured a powerful keynote address by Justice Nageswara Rao, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, who shared deep insights on the evolving landscape of dispute resolution in today’s commercial world. A gracious welcome address by Ms. Linda Fitz-Alan, Registrar and CEO of ADGM Courts, set a collaborative and forward-thinking tone for the gathering.
The event served as a launchpad for a broader initiative by ICC-UAE to strengthen engagement between practitioners and the business sector, paving the way for future partnerships, knowledge exchange, and policy-shaping dialogue.
