Our Head of International Arbitration, Mr. Tariq Khan, recently spoke at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Middle East Conference.
Mr. Khan shared insights on dispute resolution strategies, focusing particularly on family businesses and private equity firms adapting to more institutional practices in the UAE.
He highlighted key point,s including the convergence of public and private capital markets in the UAE, the suitability of Med-Arb clauses for valuation disputes, and the importance of drafting clear exit and dispute resolution mechanisms.
