Aleefa regularly represents clients in a broad spectrum of disputes, with particular experience in commercial, employment and high-value construction disputes. Her experience includes advising clients in proceedings before the onshore UAE courts, as well as the DIFC and ADGM courts, and arbitrations under leading institutional rules. She is adept at managing matters involving overlapping jurisdictions and parallel proceedings, and is known for her meticulous approach to legal analysis, drafting, and case strategy.
In addition to her disputes practice, Aleefa advises on estate planning matters, including the structuring, drafting, and execution of wills before the DIFC Wills Registry and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, providing clients with clear, practical guidance in a technically evolving area of law.
Prior to joining M&CO, Aleefa worked at a leading UAE law firm, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, complex drafting, and advocacy. This regional experience combined with her qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales, allows her to bridge common law principles with local legal frameworks. She brings a distinct advantage in cross-border matters, delivering advice that is both technically sound and tailored to the legal and commercial realities of the region.
