Roaa is a valuable asset to the department for her drafting and research skills, and she has an exceptional eye for detail.

EXPERIENCE

After becoming a part of M&CO Legal, Roaa has gained substantial experience in the realm of international commercial arbitrations. She has actively engaged in numerous high-stakes disputes on both the international and domestic fronts. Roaa’s primary concentration lies in construction-related disputes, along with offering commercial advisory services that pertain to a wide array of subjects within the framework of UAE Laws.

Roaa also assists in DIFC and ADGM Court proceedings.

FOCUS AREA

She possesses a comprehensive understanding of multiple arbitration rules including those of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC), Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), as well as the Refined Sugar Association in London, UK (RSA). She has actively managed and assisted ad hoc and institutional arbitration cases conducted under and before the afore-mentioned rules and institutions. Roaa has also been involved in disputes subject to the UAE Law, DIFC Law and the Omani Law.
