Samar has experience in a wide range of UAE corporate and commercial law
matters, including but not limited to the following:

  • Played a key role in the legal development of the Dubai Orchestra Foundation, undertaking legal research and advisory work on the optimal legal form, business model, commercialisation strategy, and associated intellectual property rights arising from the establishment and operation of the Foundation.
  • Contributed to the privatisation strategy of within a local government, conducting a comprehensive analysis on sectors suitable for private sector participation and foreign direct investment.
  • Conducted corporate governance structuring and restructuring, including incorporation of new entities and the drafting of constitutional documents such as Articles of Association, board and shareholder resolutions, and power of attorney authorisations.

Focus Area – Arbitration and Litigation Experience:

Samar has experience in a wide range of arbitration matters and local litigation, including but not limited to the following:

  • Drafting and submission of Requests for Arbitration, witness statements, legal notices, and legal opinions under major institutional rules (DIAC, ICC, DIFC-LCIA, UNCITRAL, ADGM).
  • Contributed to multi-sectoral legal matters including disputes involving construction, media, contractual breaches, labour claims, tenancy, insolvency, and emerging areas such as cryptocurrency-related.
  • Active participation in hearings, tribunal deliberations, and legal strategy sessions, supporting senior legal teams with procedural and substantive matters.
