Experience
Legal intern (June 2021 – August 2021) M&CO
During my tenure as a legal intern at M&CO, I embarked on my initial foray into
the legal profession, assuming diverse responsibilities and tasks to contribute to
the firm’s operations.
Key highlights of my role include – Preparation of litigation bundles for DIFC and
Dubai courts, under the guidance of associates and autonomously, involving
meticulous analysis in collaboration with legal counsel.
Conducting extensive research, compiling findings, and delivering
presentations to the firm’s partners and associates on the standardized bank
transfer processes in practice.
Drafting correspondence on behalf of associates and partners to clients and
counterparties, while conducting expedited legal research spanning various
areas such as Company law, Litigation, M&A, DIFC legislation, and general IP
rights.
Creation of comprehensive Excel spreadsheets detailing debts with interest
calculations owed to the firm’s clients, tailored for litigation purposes.
Providing support in drafting and maintaining a repository of templates
including claim forms, witness statements, defense documents, bail
agreements, power of attorney forms, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU),
transfer agreements, and articles of association.
Throughout these endeavors, I exercised precision, attention to detail, and a
commitment to excellence, contributing to the seamless functioning of the
firm’s legal operations.
