Ziad is a bi-lingual Junior Associate who joined the litigation department at M&CO Legal by the end of 2022, Ziad has worked in top tier Law Firms in Egypt prior to joining the firm, where he has strengthened his practice in various areas of the law, Ziad also has experience in negotiations and mediation. Moreover, Ziad is a Master’s Degree holder in International Trade.
Experience
Prior to joining M&CO Legal, Ziad has worked in the Arbitration Department at Matouk bassiouny & Hennawy Law Firm where he handled various Commercial Arbitration matters and drafting of arbitral memoranda representing Multinational Clients, in abundant areas of Law including, Concession agreements, Construction, Competition and Maritime Law.
During Ziad’s L.L.B studies he was keen to utilize the most of his summers and academic years, therefore he had the opportunity to intern for Zulficar & Partners Law Firm in the department of Mergers & Acquisitions in addition to interning for Adsero -Ragy Soliman & Partners Law Firm in both the Litigation and Corporate departments in Egypt.
Focus Area
Ziad’s areas of expertise are complex Civil and Commercial disputes before UAE Courts, DIFC and ADGM Courts, Banking, Construction and Maritime Arbitration disputes, Ziad provides advisory services in the aforementioned fields alongside participating in complex legal opinions.
