Ahmed has experience in a wide range of civil and commercial disputes under UAE law, with a particular focus on litigation relating to real estate, construction, financial claims, and estate settlement. The key cases wherein Ahmed provided his legal services are as follows: 

• Representing a sub-developer in a multi-party real estate dispute involving 97 luxury villas in Dubai, handling litigation before UAE courts and negotiating/concluding settlements with the stakeholders affiliated with this project for almost six years. 

• Representing a creditor in an estate dispute involving a debt claim of AED 70 million, and successfully securing a favourable judgment despite complex legal objections raised by the heirs seeking to dismiss the claim. 

• Representing a GCC investor in a securities dispute valued at AED 127 million and obtaining a favourable judgment before the Dubai Court of First Instance. 

• Successfully overturning an AED 50 million commercial loan judgment before the Dubai Court of Appeal. 

• Successfully persuading the Dubai Court of Cassation to overturn lower court judgments in an AED 6.2 million jurisdictional dispute, resulting in legislative amendment of the underlying legal provision. 

• Assisting in the preparation of an expert opinion in an AED 104 million ICC arbitration concerning a construction dispute, contributing to an award rendered in favour of the client. 

• Advising a UAE government financial body in relation to an AED 75 million investment dispute and providing strategic legal analysis through a detailed written memorandum. 

• Advising clients on several criminal matters.
